Lucknow: In a significant achievement, nine students from the B.Tech (Electrical Engineering) 2026 batch of University of Lucknow have secured placements at Motherson International Limited during a campus recruitment drive conducted by the university’s Training and Placement Cell at its second campus.
Congratulating the selected students, Vice-Chancellor Prof. J. P. Saini and Placement Cell Chairman Prof. S. P. Singh extended their best wishes for the students’ professional journey ahead.
Placement Cell In-charge Dr. Himanshu Pandey informed that the recruitment process comprised multiple stages, including a pre-placement talk, technical assessment, aptitude test, and technical interview. The selected candidates demonstrated exceptional performance across all rounds.
The students have been offered positions as Graduate Engineer Trainees with an annual package of ₹3 lakh (CTC), along with additional benefits such as medical insurance and gratuity. They will be deployed in the Product Development Center division of the company.

The selected students include Ishu Chandra, Reeva Mishra, Tanmay Singh, Nancy Singh, Aditya Maurya, Aditya Verma, Akhil Bharti, Arun Gautam, and Krishna Prajapati from the Electrical Engineering stream.
The placement drive was efficiently coordinated by student placement coordinators Aryan Tripathi and Aditya Swami, ensuring its smooth execution.
University officials described the achievement as a reflection of the institution’s commitment to academic excellence and industry-oriented training, further strengthening its placement record.
